:The first weight is only when the oil is cold, so if you can let the engine warm up 5 minutes, a 10w40 would offer better protection. :I just went 15w50 to be on the safe side, and I rock a solid 65-70 psi during driving. :I'd be curious to know what you think of the 0W40.I debated this for a while. Mobil 1 does not come in 10w40. Also, too thick of an oil can be even worse than a little thin. My oil pressure is about 5psi lower than yours, say around 55-60psi. The advantage is that at startup this stuff gets dumped right on those cams and upper-end which is a major plus. Even though it's 0w40, it still is a 40w oil and being Mobil 1 is all the better. I'm going to leave it in for a while and see how she goes. So far though, the car is running nice and cool and the valvetrain is as quiet as a mouse, even at startup. Mike
